Sonicare electric toothbrush worth $60?

I keep hearing they're pretty good, but is it really worth the dough?

Back in the day they were 100+. Get one and be done with it, yes they clean better than manual if you use it right.

Yeah I found this model on ebay for $60 total.

I don't care if the heads are replaceable, I would NEVER by a used toothbrush..

It actually is a huge difference. Your teeth, especially along the gumline, feel really clean. I can't use it all the time because the vibration kinda hurts.

Also, I paid that much for the Oral-B sonic toothbrush from Amazon a couple months ago and like it a little better. The grip is better, the heads are cheaper and more sanitary, it's less noisy, and the vibration is more tolerable. Also, the Sonicare shuts off after two minutes, but the Oral-B keeps going so you can finish if you're not quite done.

I have been using Sonicare toothbrush for a long long time. Now it feels funny using regular toothbrush. Yes, it worth the $60 or whatever price you paid but keep in mind you do have to change the toothbrush head every 6-12 months. The replacement head costs around $10 each.

My wife took ours on a trip so I went to Wal-Mart and bought a Oral-B battery brush. After using the Sonic Care for about two years, I can honestly say it is over hyped. The Oral-B brush I purchased cleans my teeth MUCH better than the Sonic Care we have.

The replacement brushes are a rip off though so factor that in to you purchase.

My wife has one and it's a POS. The contacts and magnets inside corrode so it gets weaker over time. You can clean it, but it's still a bad design.

I had one and its a POS imo. I doesn't use it anymore, but if you like it then use it so test it out first before buying. Otherwise, you'd only convince yourself that it's good because you've already spent the money on it.
