Yes there will be a season 5. FX couldn't cancel this show it is their #1 show in ratings. Total viewers with DVR,etc is around 9 million, that is right up there with the major network shows like NCIS ,greys anatomy and Bones.

I just hate that they killed off some of the more interesting characters and we all know what is coming for a certain character which could harm the show story line if it plays out that way, though they are creative and may work it out so it doesn't end like people think it will.

I was pleased to see Kurt Sutter had the balls to go through with killing Clay. And also having Otto and Juice go through with both their deals. Totally thought they'd write out of it with some happy ending like the Jax/Stahl plan last season.

Final two episodes look to have a whole lot more bad shit going down.

Clay dies or recovers from the shooting. It didn't look like either shot was a kill-shot...but had the potential to be fatal. I was actually surprised that Otto went through with ratting on the club. I kept expecting to see him back out of it at the last minute. Same with Juice. I think I'm more surprised at Juice than I am with Otto, but only slightly. (he always seemed to be a bitch to me anyway)

You dislike Ron Perlman? How? He has done some awesome stuff(e.g. Hellboy). I do not like Clay. I think he is dead because it will be the only way to keep SOA going IMO. It will force Jax to stay because Bobby will be in prison and Opie can't lead after this.

Clay's death being the catalyst to keep the club going. Time will tell. If there's a Season 5, and all signs say there will be, it'll damned sure be interesting. They're gonna need quite a few new members.

i think clay is dead and i hope he's dead. he has been a really shitty person this season and i'm glad to see he got what was coming to him. so glad opie went through with it, was really hoping it would not cop out.

also really surprised that bobby ended up getting locked up as others did, and with juice. i thought juice had some master plan that would fuck the police/fbi over somehow but so far it doesn't look like that.

Agreed. And not in a good way. It's like the writers ran out of ideas and needed to try some really crazy shit to keep things going. Nothing anyone has done this season has made the slightest bit of sense. There was absolutely no end-game for Clay, he was always stubborn, but never crazy. The entire season was just a series of random decisions designed to get the viewer to feel good about him getting shot.

S4 is the best season by far.
The episodes just seem to move fast and all of a sudden "boom" the shows over, but I never felt like that in any of the other seasons, in fact, I spent most of S3 fast forwarding.

But he was excellent in Blade2 and "The last supper"

I was a little disappointed in the ending of this episode myself. It felt rushed and not nearly as tense or exciting as it could have been.

The scenes with Otto in were all very well done though proving that not only can he write and produce, but that Kurt Sutter can act as well.

The Name of the Rose was probably his best performance as an actor. After that he basically just played the same character, but in a dozen different movies/tv shows!

And I disagree that this season is the "best"... the "best", going by memory, would be the one which ends with the Irish guy driving away on a boat with Abel in it with rolling stones music playing. Man that season was awesome! Stall was an epic she-villain. This season has no epic villains!

I don't really see him as "THE" villain. Dunno. In previous seasons the villain was rather clear cut. It was always someone who was outside SAMCRO. Like the annoying guy from The Shield. Then Mitch Pileggi's KKK character. And then the annoying European guy, plus the Skinhead guy who also does stand-up comedy. Sorry, I forget character names but remember the actors' other projects

I don't really hate Clay like I hated Stall. Stall was just totally evil! Satan with boobs! Clay still has some redeeming features... doesn't he???

Opie's shots didn't kill Clay. I DO think that Codewiz was right about this being a mechanism to keep Jax in the club...it's certainly panning out that way.

Next week's finale finale should be good.

The episode was a lot of fun, but now I totally agree that the show has jumped the shark! Some of the happenings on this episode were just a bit too ridiculous (but was fun to watch)
