I am guessing that pretty much all of these are going to be 1-2 hours (or more, like the 1st is 2 1/2 hours...) long, so, in total time it is the same as having a "full season" of shows..

so yeah ... this premiere was freaking badass. i love how they make episodes of this show so long. i thought it was 2.5 hours but the last 30 mins or so was the SOA after dark type shit (pointless). i watched it though but could have done without it.

i have to say, i will be very disappointed if jax does not find out that gemma is the one who killed tara. the way i see it is that juice is going to rat her out to jax for one reason or another at some point.

i was also pretty disappointed at how blindly jax believed his mom about the asians and that one guy, considering all of the shit she has done in the past and how her trust has always been questionable.

i will be disappointed if they end the show without him finding out it was gemma who killed tara, and will be even more disappointed if he finds out and doesn't get his revenge. gemma is one awesome character as a whole.

also, on the episode, when she was talking to juice, i thought she said to him "im a psychopath", and so did the host of the after dark show, but apparently she said "im NOT a psychopath".

also, the creator said last night he isn't even done writing the entire season yet, which i thought was kind of cool. i always assumed everything was done story wise before it aired, but i believe he said he had just started episode 10.

I have two thoughts on this.

Juice gives up Gemma to save his life, Jax doesn't believe him and kills him. Jax lies about Juice and causes a turf war, which results in his death and Gemma raising the kids with the club.

Someone remind me... it's been awhile... how much did Jax find out about how JT really died? I seem to remember Tara knowing at least part of that truth, but can't really remember if Jax ever knew that Clay and Gemma were behind it. Maybe I need to just go back and re-watch the show from the beginning...

He found JT's journal that hinted that Clay and Gemma would be behind it, and I believe the police records that Unser hid.

So, I guess the question is, when Jax & Juice finally meet up, will Juice spill the beans in an effort to save his skin ? But then again, Jax is thinking that Juice will say anything...

yeah it shows him trying to get protection, but we don't know how that will play out.

It seems to me it was poor writing to have Jemma kill her - forcing a plot point - but given she did, it also makes sense for Jax not to suspect it.

One thing it did is to show Jax has a strong British-sounding accent it's pretty amazing how well he covers up. (There's one other actor like that I can't think of now).

Of course he will. That's how the show is written - big secret at the beginning of the season to set up the dramatic tension of it being found out during the season.

For example, Clay's use of outside members, Juice's killing of a member, etc.

I'm going to have to watch this season. I liked the first couple seasons but kind of got bored with it.

Funny story, I was at a beach party last summer, going away party for some friends and this one woman there had a SoA t-shirt on and this Harley douche was really giving her a hard time for it. I had to laugh at this guy getting all bent out of shape over a fucking tv show. What a moron.

I think we all know Jax will eventually find out Gemma killed Tara. How he handles it is what is interesting. He can go down two very different paths, with a few shades of gray in-between. I'd be happy to see him finally realize his father's dream of taking the MC legit or leaving the MC with his sons.
