Why lame? I think a JT prequel show wouldn't be so bad. Although some of the ideas they threw out were kind of wtf? Like a Chucky show...

i just hate how they try to ride things out till they die. just let soa be soa. kinda like the "better call saul" show. i think the premise is just dumb.

that said, i might watch both of them heh.

Probably skip watching the show if you don't like it, don't you think?

Please no spoilers, but...

I loved the first six seasons. I'm now half way through episode 3 of season seven.

What the fuck are they doing? This is terrible so far. Jackson has gone from being the torn hardcore guy who's deep down inside not that bad to a murderous thug. He's just killing everyone. The amount of people they've massacred so far is ridiculous. They've double-crossed three groups from what I can tell.

Does the season get any better? I won't keep watching if it's this stupid. They have taken a shit on their own show. I get he's mad about what happened at the end of season 6 but this has become totally unwound. I actually really hope he dies now, he deserves it. He's a complete shit without any redeeming qualities.

He's always been that way. Jax seems likeable because in a world of stupid criminals, he appeared to have a sense of honor and decency. In reality, he was always a stupid thug that made bad short-sighted decisions, and who was easily manipulated...particularly by Gemma.

I'll agree though, they cranked the murder and evil to 10 for this last season. It doesn't get better in that regard, but it's worth sticking it out.

Half way through the 7th season and it almost seems like I am watching a totally different show. It's totally senseless, aimless and lacks the logic that connect it with the rest of the show. Everything seems to be forced on the story line just to keep it going... very very disappointed, would have given up but knowing that this is the last season I an just trying to finish it up.

Felt the same way. Season 7 could had be done in a 2 hours series finale.

as much as i loved the show, and enjoyed season 7, i agree with you. it felt totally different and out of character. i also hated how it ended.

that said, i still thought it was entertaining and enjoyable.

You're giving WAYYYYY too much credit to the other six seasons. They've all been the same way, stupid people doing illogical things for silly reasons usually predicated on believing a lie without checking the facts. In that regard S7 is completely consistent with the running theme of the show. Nothing has changed, only the body counts have been ratcheted up so that the characters motivations (or lack thereof) are a little more blatant.

naah, S7 has way too many missing links, the biggest is the two CIA Cartel dudes, totally disappeared... the way the season started, Jax giving up everything to avenge his wife, taking the club with him, it was totally out of character. Destroying his relation with August, all that he had sacrifices before just to go legit, that was out of character. I can understand his need for vengeance, but taking the whole club down with him for that, totally out of character. Maybe its because I was binge watching and once I reached season 7, it seemed lame and stupid, seemed like the writer was held on gun point and forced to write another season...

I personally always saw Jax as completely sociopathic and self serving throughout the entire show. The guy started making moves to take out the guy that raised him in the first season without any show of guilt or hesitation. While season 7 was complete crap that went off the rails plot wise, I didn't really see Jax that out of character. If anything they removed any pretense of him really giving a shit about anyone else.

I always knew he would go out like this old man

his old man was murdered and set up, he went out like a pussy. it was so predictable that i just thought they wouldn't do it because it was way too obvious. but nope, they did it. it was a happily ever after ending. so fucking lame.

His old man knew that he was being set up but he didn't care. "He was one with his panhead, the moment he touched it he had to know that something was wrong, it was not an accident, he rode into that semi"

yeah but that is still different than what jax chose to do on a perfectly fine working bike. the ending was just awful. all the symbolism made it even worse.
