Sons of Anarchy premiers on FX Wed. 10 Eastern. The previews look good. Anybody else plan on watching.

The members of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Original Redwood Charter (SAMCRO or SOA for short), led by Clay Morrow, control Charming through close community relationships, bribery and violent intimidation. Club members have "day jobs" in local industries, but they primarily make money by importing illegal weapons and selling them to African-American drug gangs in the East Bay. However, they keep meth traffickers out of Charming, which puts them at odds with the meth-distributing white supremacist "Nords" gang, headed by Ernest Darby. The SOA also have to deal with a rival Oakland-based MC, the "Mayans," led by Marcus Alvarez.

Pilot was pretty good. Will watch again. The stick of dynamite in the Mayan's ass was a nice touch. "The Candles are on the Cake" BOOOOOOOOOOOM

Just got a chance to see the pilot episode last night. It was actually pretty good and I enjoyed it. It has the same feel as some of the other good FX shows.

I have it downloaded, but haven't got a chance to watch it yet. Hopefully this weekend.

I assume, I watched an episode last night that was definitely not the premier. Pretty good so far. We'll see how it turns out.

show looked interesting, but the guy that plays jax is the british dude from undeclared and i'm having a hard time getting past it. he seems to have trouble masking that accent at times, and his "tough guy" walk just looks awkward and forced.

I think thats (the walk) is the point. He doesn't really want to be killing/beating people, but has to in order to fit in.

I saw part of this episode. It was ok, but only ok.

Having grown up around 1%'ers, these folks just don't look the part.

The acting was ok, but so far, the characters just don't LOOK like the "Bad-Ass Bikers" they're supposed to be.

I DO like their attempts to keep meth out of their little town, even though that's pretty unrealistic. For the most part, historically, the bikers have been right in the middle of the crank manufacturing and distribution.

I watched this weeks episode last night and have to say I think I'm hooked.

It's pretty graphic at times and they go now it's apparently okay to use the word shit on TV so long as you put a disclaimer on it. Pretty hardcore those scenes at the end where they're burning the tatoo off that dude they kicked out of the club.
