So yeah, you still need near a $1000 PC. A $1000 PC is a entry level gaming system. And it might run just as nice as the 360, but its still $600 more expensive.

But you do more than just play games on the computer. Its much more useful.

monthly fee? guess I need to pay more attention. How much is the fee supposed to be? I dont' know if I like the game THAT much...

I play my XBOX 360 on an extra 19" LCD that I have using the VGA video output cable. Works just fine for me.

The thing Sony is really forgetting is that the HD-DVD drive is meant to be an option to consumers. I think that's really the biggest gripe about the PS3 is that Blu-Ray is being forced down the consumer's throat ... and at a premium to the consumer!

I still don't know if I'll purchase the HD-DVD add-on... I don't have an HDTV and have no desire to buy one... I'd rather spend the money on a PC .

EDIT: Although I find the comparison of online services a bit unfair. No one knows how much Sony's online service will actually cost, since game publishers can choose to charge their own fees for games. If publishers do charge fees, I think people might see XBOX Live's single fee as an easier method.

I had no lag issue , they had lag 1st few days because they didn't expect 100 of thousands gamers to download the beta and all try to play at once , They fixed it by opening new servers for beta which took few days ;( ... anyways i played the beta for 20hrs + my dude was on level 18. 1st 2hrs of the game you don't what they hell is going on but once you understand everything the game freaken rocks you get so addicted. My buddy and me started to play the game and now we are so addicted that we don't care about World of Warcraft. Sega will keep putting new content every month , a new planet , weapons and extra stuff.

I was curious, Tut... are there any pages with "straight-up" information on the classes, interface, objectives and the overall system without providing lots of marketting crap and PR fluff? I've always wanted to play a fun online game with an Assassin/Ninja type, but Guild Wars and FFXI have been ruled out, and WoW's rogue really doesn't fit the role 100% (although I do have a 60 rogue).
