I will have to but some sixaxis controllers then. I already have two but ill need some more. I always hated rumble in my games, i want to play them, not feel them. And i know you can turn it off in a lot of games, but it got tedious to always turn it off in every game. I eventually ended up taking my controllers apart and castrating them. At least the original xbox controllers the devices actually plugged in making them easy to replace if one of my friends complained or a game required rumble (SCREW YOU splinter cell!)

Plus i always felt i was holding bricks in my hands when i had a dualshock in my hand. I was so happy the first time i felt a sixaxis. so perfect and light.

The only time I ever felt that a rumble feature was useful was in Zelda Ocarina of time when it would rumble when you got close to treasure. Otherwise I don't want my games rumbling every 2 seconds.

I think they'll probably clear them out in 40 GBs once the DS3 comes out in stores, so I would be surprised to see them selling that cheap in stores. On the other hand I don't doubt you'll be able to find plenty of used (or unused but not in packages due to being sold by 40 GB purchasers) controllers selling on eBay around that price.

$20? Not for a while. I just sold my SIXAXIS for $37 on ebay used. And that wasn't dual shock 3 it was just sixaxis.

When the PS1 came out the pads were digital, and shortly after they released the original dualshock which quickly became the standard, so this isn't really something new for Sony. I actually still have a few of the all digital pads and they're somewhat valued by people that like to hack the PCBs for arcade sticks.
