I'd go for a digicam like that but one of the bulky professional looking ones with like 8x-10x optical zzom would be nice for that price with the same mps hehe. Anyone know of one for $200 like that?

I would go for the minolta they are awesome cams and also built really good and the picture is superb! i own a g500 myself and have a g600 as a work camera.

I was also looking at a Pentax Optio S5i and Fuji finepix e510, but I guess you mean stick wth Canon or Nikon huh?

Everyone puts fancy Euro names on their lenses nowand I can't tell which is good.. But even Steve's Digicams liked the Kodak 7530...

I like the canon a85 or a95...ive seen the Sony p100 down to $242 which is a very nice camera. The a95 is just under $250 as well consistantly, but if you find the p100 down near there I would take it over either of the canons.
