It's very difficult, almost impossible, to find Taiyo Yuden blank discs in a Sony package anymore. The better bet is to go to Best Buy and buy the Verbatim 16x DVD+R for $6.99 per 25. This will cost you $3 more per 100, but you will have what many believe to be the best DVD media made these days, "MCC004".

Not impressed w/ sony MIJ + and -R last yr. Its not junk (I know, I have many junk) but not nearly as good as mcc verbatim. That being said I have an OD $10 off $10 coupon I need to spend this week. So maybe....

ok, the ones at office depot are made in taiwan, was one hour away, wouldnt pay 10 cents for those. all the verbatims i see at best buy are also made in taiwan. gonna stick with Taiyo Yuden from rima.com, at least i wont have to toss 10% of the discs in the trash due to write failures. thanks for the info all.

I'm using the MIT Sony +R type and am very happy with them. At videohelp.com all the ratings are good except for console (mixed), which I could care less about. I want data archive reliability.
