The Star Wars game did run poorly. I hate to hear him talking about downloading games, I see the used game market going away. Without used games, my interest in consoles goes way down, buying new games at $50+ is way to much money.

I think they meant it would release worldwide then.

I'm really hating the setup for the Sony conference. Every time they start showing a game, the camera pulls back to show all 4 games and then you can't see what is up on the screens clearly.

they keep bringing up "exclusively for the PS3".... I'm not a PS3 hater, but this is really annoying. :| You don't see the 360 speeches beating the audience over the head with it.

Speaking of 60fps, is it true that Madden08 only runs at 30fps on the PS3 while it runs at 60fps on a 360? That's pretty sad..

Yep. NCAA 08 and AllPro2k8 as well.

Oh noes!

Prior to this year, all Maddens for Xbox 360 ran in 30fps. I didn't hear Xbox 360 owners bitching about that.

Hey...a longer KZ2 trailer that actually showed better clips of gameplay.

I'd say the conference was alright...aside from a few cool things, nothing spectacular.

I didn't see any of the MS conference, and only a slight bit of the Nintendo one, so I can't really compare.

What's this about UT3 being exclusive? He also mentioned PC...so is it a timed exclusive or what (with 360?)?

Probably because there has been so much press and forum posting about other games going cross-platform. Someone starts a new thread here in consoles to needle Sony whenever it's even rumored to be happening.

Timed exclusive on UT3 and Haze.

Actually, you did. There were complaints about stuttering and slow-down in both Madden and NCAA.

slow downs are not the same as FPS, I could run a game at 100 fps and still have significant slowdowns. It just means it is not a constant 100 fps, and who knows how well this will perform on either system.

I must have missed them when I played the games on Xbox 360 with my buddies. Nevertheless, 60 fps >> 30fps.
