while i prefer cups over my ears, they are too big too lug around..

for portables, these buds are awesome. people complain there is no bass, but its usually cuz they dont wear them right. these go IN your ear, unlike normal ear buds that rest outside the canal.

Ehh, I heard these, sharp md-33's on audiocube purely owned them IMHO, $40 too, but $50 shipping from Japan... Though they are made in China... EX-71's lack bass as many state, so adjusting the EQ is required...

But for $16.27 (w/ Washington state tax...) shipped, I bit

and now they are In stock... But what sucks is that since its a refurbed, the drivers have probably already been burned in more than likely...

I had the white ones and the wires disintegrated after like 2 months. I liked them though and only heard about problems with the white wires so i got a black pair and they are still going fine after about a month and a half. i bought the black ones off amazon but it looks like they only have the white and silver right now. The extensions are nice too. if you're thinking about going for the MDR-EX51LP, please note that you do not get an extension but the lenght is the same as the MDR-EX71SL
