Sony Nex-F3 or Samsung NX1000

I'm trying to decide between the two entry-level Micro4/3s. It's mostly for casual outdoor/indoor photography and to take on my (many trips). I currently use a Sony TX-9 which is okay but I'd like to have something which gives me better control. Most of my shooting will be landscapes and will also be doing some (semi formal functions) indoor photography.

For starters I will be picking up the lens that comes as a bundle. I am in Pakistan and I have not been able to find Panasonic/Nikon M4/3s (at least online). The Samsung is a bit cheaper and they are aggressively marketing the NX1000 here so I'm bound to get better support.

Suggestions?
I am also considering the Canon G1X.

G1X is pretty big, M43 is also unpocketable except with the pancake lenses, and even then, you'd need big pockets. Same with NX.

If you plan on getting only the basic kit lens and never switching it out, then I would recommend that you instead get a compact camera with fast glass and good sensor, such as a Sony RX100, Panasonic LX7, or if you don't mind giving up a little image quality, a Canon S95/100/110. Depending on how you feel about camera size/weight and lens caps and such, the compact premium cameras may be the way to go.

This is because the kit lenses that come with interchangeable lens cameras are typically 28-85mm equivalents, with f/3.5-5.6 glass which is kind of slow, whereas the premium compacts typically have either somewhat large sensors and/or large-aperture lenses, which means that they are not far behind what a m43+kit lens combination would give you.

We have pretty large pockets in Pakistani clothes. I used to carry around a 7" tablet with relative ease. Eventually, I will buy more lenses. My friend is trying to convince me to get a Nikon DSLR since he already has a lens collection he is willing to share. But the D3000 (or D3100) is definately not pockatable. But it's still an option.

I will have a look at the Rx100. What sort of manual options will I get compared to a m43? What about image quality?

Neither of those are micro 4/3. They are mirrorless APS-C which generally speaking will have a longer lens. I carry around a Panasonic GF2 with 14mm pancake and it's not bulking, I would highly recommend them, if you can still find it. Olympus is another guys that makes micro 4/3 whose lenses are interchangeable with Panasonic. Perhaps you can take a look at them.
