This seems like a good deal, and I'm wondering if I can get $200 in rewards without bothering with the Sonystyle purchases (they say PS3, but you get the $100 as long as you spend at least $299 at sonystyle.com within 45 days of activation).
The deal says to use the PlayStation card to buy a PS3 at sonystyle.com and you'll receive $100 in card credit.
There is a "bonus deal" awarding $100 in card credit for the first $1500 spent on the card, and then another $100 in card credit when you've reached a total of $3000 spent on the card. $200 from spending $3000 is more than 6.66% in returns, better than most reward cards out there (certainly better than my current cards!).
However, there is some fine print, be wary of the time constraints. The sonystyle.com purchases must be done within the first 45 days of activates. For the other rewards, "You will qualify for a second $100 card credit when you charge to your PlayStation Card account an additional $1,500 within the first 3 months of account open date. You will qualify for a third $100 card credit when you charge to your PlayStation Card account an additional $1,500 by your 6 month anniversary."
