I was checking out takhyon's headphone post here and ran across a pretty good deal in the clearance section at eCOST.com. The Sony SLV-N81 for $49.99 refurbished by Sony. If you add a small item you can get it shipped for free ( just the $3.95 handling fee).
$50 is pretty good for a Sony VCR, it get's middle of the road reviews.
