Amazon Black Friday £50 off tricked me into buying it!

Gonna arrive friday, looking forward to watch style GPS b2b music.

(Gonna have to buy some BT earphones, any recommendations for running?)

My main question IS does the watch support aptX? I've asked Sony support but heard nothing back.

ALSO!

Anyone got one? Any opinions/reviews? I literally bought it for running so I don't have to take my phone, can't see me using it for anything else but I do like the look of it.

it's unlikely that it has aptX, very stringent hardware controls on that one, unlikely Sony would subject themselves to it on something as large as a watch. Also, high bitrate SBC is basically indistinguishable from aptX. Most of what aptX gets you is quality DAC. Smart, but if you somehow got a quality DAC circuit and just played SBC through it would sound great, too. I have no problem with it, basic marketing and business sense, I'm just saying, the algorithm itself isn't where the fidelity improvement comes from
