Sony Walkman NW-MS9 Comments?

Saw this bad boy at Best Buy tonight. It's incredibly small and sexy looking. Has anyone used one, or own one? The msrp is $299 which is a little steep for a 64mb player, but I was just curious what people thought.

I still like the Intel Pocket Concert.

Not bad, I like better the Nomad II MG Limited Edition going for $349 at Creative's site though Has 256 MB built-in plus a smartmedia slot for another 128 MB.

I'd say "be carefull"!

I got a NW-MS7 as a present and IMO it's useless. First the memory sticks are rather expensive, and second it is totally dependent on that OpenMG software, which means you *have* to convert your .wav and .mp3 in Sony's ATRAC format before uploading to the player. I don't know if this is still the case for the later NW-MS devices, but please check a review or two and do a search on groups.google.com before buying.

DSTA: Damn, I didn't know you had to convert them to Sony's format first. That's retarded. And yeah, the memory sticks are pretty expensive.

I'll have to check out that Nomad II MG Special Edition. 256mb is very nice. And it still has expansion!
