I'm watching my roommate fill a big bowl full of ice so she can put it in front of the fan in our apartment because she says it'll make the air cooler. Am I right to be laughing at her?

Theres no difference with the ice than without it, its all already half melted anyway. This is stupid. I hate no AC.

Yes there is- the heat to melt the ice didn't appear out of nowhere. The heat energy from the fan blowing air over it melted it, and removed heat from the air, making it colder. Just not cold enough to make a difference.

Oh just go download some porn already. Make sure it's three girls in nothing but their underwear dripping in sweat and then you'll have some idea of what it's like over here. Pervs.
