they are chanting not my president.

what country are they from?

Considering many of them are probably illegal aliens that need to be deported and kept out, it's probably not the US

Whiny crybabies, protesting the result of the election because the queen didn't get her rightful coronation. boo freakin' hoo.

Yeah you showed real respect for President Obama over the last 8 years, lol.

You've seen the people who voted for Trump, right? They're sore everything, because they're pieces of shit.

This is exactly why Trump won. Bigots like you who can't tolerate someone having a different perspective have to label them and try to slander or smear them. Well, they got sick of it and decided to vote. Congrats, you helped the cause!

The number of stories I've seen about minorities interactions with Trump supporters since he won and how they are literally in fear for their lives is almost unbelievable.

I've seen other stories of people getting beat up because they <gasp> had the audacity to vote for someone the lefty thugs didn't like. Cars vandalized because they had trump sticker. If anyone should be fearful, it's the good people who might come into contact with some of the "tolerant" lefty mobs.

I'm very much opposed to him and his politics, but I assure you I was not out rioting and looting after he won the election, nor would I assault anyone for supporting him. There were no groups of whiny crybabies "protesting" all around the country after obummer won. Nice try though. The lib-tears just keep flowing, it's great

Dude, don't clue them in, encourage them, they're right, we're deplorable pieces of shit, spread the word.... I mean it worked so well for them.

Just think, they just ensured a conservative Supreme Court for the next few decades.

There's a-holes on both sides. The country would be a lot better off if each side would grasp the concept that their sh!t stinks as bad as the other.

Pretty much what you said

I thought the old hag would win and I stated so on here; I also stated that I wasn't a Trump fan. There was plenty of Trump hate around here, so I felt obligated to point out some of the glaring flaws of her majesty and the usual suspects on here continued to live in denial. Some were flat out nasty to anyone who dared cast a disparaging comment in her direction. So though I haven't openly gloated, I must confess to a certain amount of schadenfreude over the misery of some of the arrogant evolved life forms on here.

Most of the "sore winning" I'm seeing seems to be directed at earlier posts where people were insulted for suggesting Trump could win. I thought Trump was going to lose, personally, so it's not like I can even gloat about "winning" (plus I didn't vote for him), but I can laugh at smug people getting it right back at them. If someone quoted an earlier post of yours and laughed at you, it was probably because you laughed at someone else.

The losers right now were sore winners months before the results were in. It hasn't even been 24 hours, sweetie. You deserve this. Suck it up.

This to me is exactly right. Supporters of Hillary were acting like asses well before the election because all polls showed her ahead. Posting pictures of toilet paper for Trump supporters to use, etc. Far more Hillary supporters here and many posts were very negative. Calling names, doing nothing but insulting others who didn't have the same view point. So sure they were going to win, they were "sore winners" before the election happened. Now they want to condemn it? More hypocrisy.

Let them have their moment, they deserve it. They'll now have to own the next four years if things go south. Defending Drumpf is going to be a full time job.

Reading this thread is quite amusing. Those who supported Hillary believe they were the pinnacle of good behavior? Far from it. I remember pre-election, anyone who isn't pro-Hillarywitch was labeled as shit tier garbage. Even if they weren't pro-Trump. So in my opinion, those who were gloating way before the election ended and kept rubbing turd in other people's faces can go stuff it.

Good point, maybe the better strategy is to make sure the lefties continue to alienate normal people by labeling them racist/sexist/hateful/misogynist/ageist/whateverist any time they have a thought that does not comply with the politically correct mandated one.

No doubt that's true, but only one side has looting and rioting when they don't get their way, and only one side consistently uses violence and intimidation to silence the other side. That's exactly why the polls were so far off -- those who voted Trump quietly did so without telling anyone because of fear of violence or other retribution from the "tolerant" left.

Well, in this particular case, the winners are the kind of people who shit on anyone they dont like. And the circumstances dont seem to matter.

Unrelated: I've already heard about a dozen stories of overt racism directly related to the Trump win.

You act like Drumpf won a landslide victory, bringing large numbers of dems to their side to vote for him. That didn't happen, look at the vote totals, he lost the popular vote. Polls can't determine who will vote, they just predict how they will likely vote if they vote.

this is the funniest thing I have read this week....so after years of reading arguably some of the most hate filled and negative comments on this board directed towards conservatives you expect folks not to sub salt in the wound after this massive upset...please.

It is telling that some of the most vocal have seemingly gone to rock and cry in their safe spaces.
But as none of those hate filled and negative comments came from the OP, it's perfectly valid for him to ask for civility. No matter our politics, we don't have to give back what we get.

Neither Trump nor Hillary was my horse, but I'll say this in defense of the Trumpsters: It would be a lot easier to be gracious winners were the left not conducting violent protests over the results. Burning the American flag and vandalizing cars and businesses is not conduct conducive to receiving respect.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/10/us/trump-election-protests.html?_r=0

Asking that the winners be nice whilst the losers damage cars, injure cops, and deface buildings falls somehow flat. But nonetheless the OP is spot-on, and to the extent I've personally not been gracious, congratulations to the Trump supporters among us and my apologies for not saying it sooner. And my sympathies to the Hillary supporters among us.

I wonder if the OP remembers Phokus. He pops in here every now and then, but used to be much more active on P&N. The most realistic facsimile of Phokus on this board now, in terms of his fighting style, is Jhhhn.

On 11/9/2012, Phokus posted this gif in a thread.

I never forgot it, because of how mean-spirited it was.

This is P&N man. Assholes abound. It's a good idea to develop thick skin.
Meh. I'm a Republican and a Romney supporter and I thought that was pretty funny. (Probably because I've already taken your excellent advice. lol)

Irony. Something completely lost on the right.
Not true. We all laugh our asses off every time you call someone an idiot even though he was actually agreeing with you.

I'm more than happy to concede that I was completely wrong, I thought for sure illary would win by a landslide. I was dead wrong to believe the polling. I'm not a big Trump fan either. I'm completely giddy with joy that the hildebeast will not get to the white house, but I'm not thrilled that Trump will be there instead. The tears, whining and anger coming from the smug usual lefties is an absolute delight. The elitist left's disdain and contempt for anyone who wasn't on board the illary train helped do them in, it turned many away from voting for her. I hope they continue down that same road.

The problem with politics in America is that everyone treats it like a football game. We are all on the same team you idiots.

I voted none of the above. The only deplorable in this election was HRC, ugg, so glad she didn't win. Trump is all over the place on policy, he is too much of an unknown to support (he supported universal healthcare if you asked him last year, now?), I hope he does a good job, and doesn't let the Republicans push him around.

Once the liberals give up, we can reunite the country and move forward. If they wish to make it hard and not accept the "loss", the "winners" should keep kicking them until they say uncle/aunt/person.

Is it too much to ask that if you know any Trump supporters that know Trump supporters who are perpetuating these actions, you just put it out there that they cool it with the harassment and worse right now? Maybe make MAGA mean great for everyone, not just the in-groups?

I understand you won't. But I am compelled to ask.
