SOTR & problems with CTD when enabling DX12 and RTX

I've left this game at the backlog and now I can only play when I disable DX12. With DX12 on and RTX I can't seem to get past the launch screen or even when I get inside game I can't seem to play for more than 2-3 mins max. Either it will CTD or hang while it's still working but my screen will go blank and I will not be able to exit to desktop, like a driver failure except it does not crash. Numerous crash codes like DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG or iirc removed one or two times .
I tried numerous things I found on the net. I disabled o/c, I disabled exclusive fullscreen, regedit entries, vsync, no 3rd party apps are running in the background, I disabled HDR which might have been interfering maybe but nothing. The only thing I didn't do is disable XMP profile and I'm certainly not going to try that since I haven't got any issue with my ram which is thoroughly tested for many hours in stress tests and of course in every other single game.
I saw many people were experiencing this problem so I'm asking whether someone has any other idea what it might be.

True.. Too many issues .. I mostly looking to play it on DX12 because of the beautiful HDR implementation which looks great on my OLED rather than the raytracing codepath tbh..
But since I'm playing games from the backlog as we speak I'm not gonna bother anymore for a single game, every other I've played with this system for many months now I haven't experienced a single issue so..
