sounblaster live 3.0 and windows xp

As has been mentioned the xp drivers are available for the soundblaster live value. It says you must have liveware 3.0 installed. Since at this point there does not appear to be liveware 3.0 for xp what liveware do you install. Is it the win 98 or win 2.0 version?

I'd go with the Windows 2000 version since XP is supposed to be based on Win2000

just download the livewire, it won't ask you when you install it. I just did that. Actually someone also PM me yesterday asking the same thing but after he installed it, it went fine.

I'm was using the default drivers from WinXP for my SB Platinum and recently updated it from Windows Update. No problems so far and I'm glad I could just by pass that bloatware 3.0 all together.
