I'm thinking of getting a 'cheap' SB Live, but I can't seem to find them obviously listed. All I can find are the:

- SB Live! Player 5.1
- SB PCI 512

Are any of them what I'm looking for?

Not from any of my prefered suppliers in the UK though.

IS the SBLive Player 5.1 basically what I'm after? It's the same price as the Live! Value used to be (when they stocked it). It seems to have '1024 voices', which seems to be the key feature of all the cards.

Yup, the SBLive! Player 5.1 is what you should get AFAIK, it's basically just an SB Live!, the 5.1 just means that it's a slightly newer revision of the SB Live!, with better 5.1 support.

I think Dabs is the cheepest for the Sb Live 5.1
