Every time I try to install the drivers for my Soundblaster Live 5.1 card, I get a blue screen when I restart. I had them installed in the beginning but was having so many problems that I removed them (re-installed XP).
My machine hangs whenever I play a 3d game, but it is always the sound that goes into a loop. I have tried everything, from moving the card from one PCI slot to the other to changing the hardware acceleration. Could it perhaps be a bad card or could there be some conflict?
