I'm about to buy the Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS. Will i have any problems with using it on an Abit IC7-G mobo? I use my maching mostly for gaming, and i heard this card is awesome. Any thoughts?

Nope, just disable your onboard sound before you install it.

I suppose you should just turn off the 6-Channel Audio onboard sound on your IC7-G when you install the Audigy 2 ZS.

I bought an Audigy 2 ZS last week. Sound quality is awesome, especially EAX advanced in games like counter strike were an enemy's footsteps can be used to position him. Its hard to describe, but you will understand when you experience it.

I'm not sure of which onboard audio that board has, but I've had an Audigy (1) Platinum installed with two mobos that had nForce audio on them. Never did I even have to disable the onboard. Just go into the control panel and tell windows which card you want as your default and it should be fine. The Audigy diver install usually whines about there being other audio devices in the system but under XP I have yet to see any issues. PLus, if you do a lot of work with audio, having two sound cards can be kinda fun to toy with.
