Sound Card

Looking to buy a sound card and wondering which of the following I should get.

Both are decent. For gaming get the blaster.
If you do not play games look at the connectivity options as they are the main difference between these 2 cards.

E.g. if you use digital speakers check if they take coax signal (M-audio card)
or optical signal (X-Fi gamer).

On the other hand Sound Blasters have better WDM drivers as well with better options for recording (e.g. both "wave out mix" and "what you hear"). And they are better for games and Vista.
