is that the Live that comes w/ the remote? i'd relaly like a puter w/ a remote!

I believe the only SB Live that comes with a remote is the Platinum 5.1.

Cheapest price for this is ~$100 + S&H (a lot of the ones online don't come with the remote).

a. the mp3 + 5.1 and the x-gamer + 5.1 can be upgraded to the live drive! (TM) which allows the use of a remote

b. the audigy is a piece of (censored) (censored) (censored) mostly because it is NOT a true 24bit 96khz card. It just upsamples.

c. anyone happen to know where you can find that live drive! itself? (The 5.25 drive bay thingy) I've been searching for awhile, but all the places I've seen want to charge me an arm and a leg for it.

yes you can get an audigy oem value for around that same price but this isn't an oem and it isn't a value it's the mp3 so it also comes with all the software that the audigy value does not. good deal, not what i'm looking for but i know someone will get in on it. i'm still waiting for a good deal on a retail fortissimo2.

if you're looking for a remote for your pc there are remotes that you can buy for like $10 which you can probalby program to do all the things that the live drive will allow you to do. The upgrade to the live drive can be expensive if you dont' plan on taking advantage of the other features (front panel inputs). If you'd like more info, tell me and I'll see if I can find some of the old links that i found.
