Soundcard, USB device, or similar PCI card that has coaxial and optical outs? NO BREAKOUT CABLES

I'm looking for a card that has coaxial and optical outputs, which I'll be connecting one of them to an external DAC. So all it has to do is send the digital signal through one of those mediums to the DAC, it doesn't need a DAC itself.

Anyways, it can't have a breakout cable (I'm through with those things) and preferabbly PCI, although USB is doable as well.

I've looked at a few options, including the ESI/Audiotrak Maya44, ESI Juli@, and Yamaha UW10 which catch my eye as particularly appealing. What I'd love is something like the Echo MIA (discontinued) but if it only had optical!

I believe Onkyo audio made quite an impressive card for direct audio out. Not sure if it had Digital outs. Can anyone here look that thing up?

I have an ONKYO SE-90PCI card that has only analog RCA out and a Digital out connector. Three outlets on the card and that's all. I never use the digital out but it is the little covered square connector. It has an VIA Envy 24MT sound chip on it.

Unfortunately I've forgotten who I ordered it through but it came straight from Japan and a Japanese/English web page. Can'tell you much else about it as the box and the instruction manual are 99% Japanese. The driver CD also. I enjoy excellent sound reproduction from analog through Swans 200 speakers.

The card has an onboard DAC

See if the SE-90 has enough outs for you. If not go for the SE-150. Either way you will NOT be disappointed by output. Onkyo is excellent in the Home Theatre industry and they dont mess up in the computer segment either.

Meh, I never was much on the grammar nazi scene. Just a form of bashing to me. But it might help to edit your post with a correct link just so people dont get adware filled :laugh:. Im way too sleepy now, I'm out, I'll check this in the morning.
