Season Twelve of South Park begins March 12th 2008 at its usual time slot: Wednesdays at 10:00pm (ET/PT). The award-winning animated television series is expected to do well this Spring, riding high on the momentum of having closed out the previous season with impressive, record delivery numbers [recent A.I. news: "Cable Animation Q3 & Q4 Ratings"]. Season Twelve will kick off with an episode called "Tonsil Trouble," wherein the beloved Eric Cartman's live suddenly comes into jeopardy (or at least, he thinks so), once his routine tonsillectomy "goes horribly wrong." Cartman, naturally, goes on the prowl for support of his affliction and tries to muster a follower or two that will help him in his cause; that is, until he finds out that no one really wants to help him? except maybe Butters.
Cartman has to take matters into his own hands, which should make for an interesting Season Twelve premiere for Comedy Central's highest rated television series, South Park. Coemdy Central has aptly noted that fans of the animation will be able to download-to-own the uncensored version of each new episode from the 12th Season through online junctions such as iTunes, xBox LIVE and Amazon Unbox.
