maybe just OOS. I just called officemax to put in a phone order since the coupon is just for online or phone order. The rep was very helpful and confirms that they don't have any in stock for shipping but she did put in a backorder for me and it went through in the system... of course that isn't saying much until they actually ship one for me... So I am holding on to my order number and have my fingers crossed.

The total after the $30 off is $267 plus change.

Strange thing is when they do not have these in stock they show them as discontinued until they run the next special. I don't think they even offer them at the regular price only 2** when they can get them in.

I'm having a hard time getting them to accept a phone order with the coupon and selling to me at the $279 price. Reps keep saying I can either take the $279 price or do my coupon off the $399 "original" price. Hrmm, quite frustrating.

Be thankful you can get one, aparently no one in CA. can get one shipped. You have to go to the closest store that has one in stock, for me that's 100+ miles.

Why not just order it for delivery?


EDIT: I called back in an attempt to backorder it and a different CSR said that they are in stock for delivery and hooked me up! $269 after coupon and tax, delivered.

My soyo's digital input just conked out! 34 days after I bought it. I switched to the analog input and the picture looks very poor compared to what it did with the digital connection. How does one go about returning for repair?

I finally got the phone order coupon to work this morning. Just had to do a different day with a different CSR. Went without a hitch. No qustioning, no long holds, no nothing. Just, Giving them my personal ordering info, the item I wanted, the price shown in the ad and online, and the coupon number, and viola! purchase made and item arriving in 3 to 5 business days.

Yeah let's see if it actually arrives I have ordered for couple of days and they still haven't charged it to my CC so my guess is it's not shipped out yet.

Hmmm, well I just called to do a phone order, and the rep says they are available in two nearby locations, but currently none in the warehouse. So I could go pick one up today...

But my coupon codes are for phone orders only. And they expire 2/29, and she didn't know if this price would be available next week.

On second thought, I think I'm going to go ahead and backorder it. In the meantime, anyone who wants a $40 off a $200+ purchase should PM me. I'm about to make a thread in FS/T, after I make my phone call.

I got mine yesterday. Overall a nice monitor. THe stand isnt that great and it sort of tilts the screen forward..gonna have to do something about that..

only other complaint is that the viewing angle isnt as good as my old dell 2005fpw ..like if i stand up and try to still read the screen it will get a little blurred etc

but, when i am sitting in my desk for normal usage it looks great..all my games look better than ever

congrats, I didn't go with the warranty personally. My current 2 LCD I have, a 19" and a 17" I've had for about umm.. 7 years or so now and they are still in perfect condition. They are 7 year old tech of course, to finally upgrading will be like a MAJOR switch I hope, but I'm hoping the dependability on monitors isn't any worse than what they were in the past.

With all the reports of people getting black lines developing on theirs, I figure it'd be easier to simply exchange mine if it goes bad thru OfficeMax than to try and carry out an RMA with Soyo - I've been reading here that trying to do that is like pulling teeth.

Plus, the CSR looked up the warranty and confirmed that it is transferrable, so it's a helpful selling point when I try to sell this thing.

I've had mine since Nov of last year. All the talk about over heating, blacklines, dead pixels........got me worried. No problems to date. Absolutely love it. This panel is so much better than the Acer 24" that i also about and then returned. Very happy customer here.
