Hi. I've been thinking about getting the Soyo P4S Dragon Ultra with the
P4 2.0Ghz cpu. Just wonder if anyone has any experiences with this board?
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank in advance.

I've got the p4s dragon with 1.8a running 2.4. Only problem for me is cold boot. If you're not overclocking though, then you won't have any problems.

133 FSB. Had to bump it to 1.7V, but the P4S undervolts the CPU as far as all the monitoring software is concerned. The voltage usually floats around 1.65V. Your overclock may be hitting the ceiling of your CPU. I haven't tried any higher since I'm perfectly happy with 2.4G and this leaves all my buses within spec. I have crucial ram so I'm sure the ram can go higher, but that'll throw off my AGP and PCI buses. Also from reviews I've read, the SIS chipset performs slower with asyncronous bus.
Your 120 FSB may be throwing off you other buses. Make sure you are using the right dividers.

As far as I know the AGP and PCI bus settings are automatic with this board. As for me I wont do alot of overclocking with this board till I see some more info about it. I am aware that some chips just dont overclock as well as others but hey down the road maybe I will take it to higher levels. Right now I am only running it at default 2.0 gig. I have looked for divider settings and I dont see any, when I had my Abit board it set the dividers into spec wherever you increased the fsb.

Thank you for the input. I don't overclock my computer so it should not
be a problem. I am looking for a motherboard with stability and not having a problem out of the box. Reasons I select the Soyp P4S Dragon Ultra are the onboard Ethernet and the RAID controller built-in. Thanks
once again.
