sp2 good or bad?

Is sp2 a resource hog? Just installed it last night and notice a bunch of new stuff. Should I use most of this stuff, or just disable it all?

for me, it's just annoying. it's not like i have super secret stuff inside my computer. i hate it when they have to interfere whenever i try to install something

I have had zero problems so far. Been running it about 2 weeks now.

SP2 isn't good, but it's a improvement.

I can understand putting it off for a couple months to let stuff mature a little bit, but in the coming months your going to be a moron if you running WinXP without SP2 and it's connected to a network.

If your running WinXP you have no choice, best now to do your backups and upgrade. You might as well get it out of the way.

Can't say I've noticed much difference, I don't use IE so I don't know about the popup stopper.
Don't use the firewall either, so I don't know about that either.
The Security Center is extremely annoying, kept popping up little reminders that I had the firewall disabled, and apparently it didn't like AVG either since it kept complaining about it.

Overall, once I shut down the SC and some other new junk, it's pretty much like Sp1, so I figure, why not?

Oh and one thing, on every computer that I installed it on, Media Player got screwed up.
The ones that are fresh installs with Sp2 slipstreamed work fine though.
