To my understanding, they are trying to keep it accurate. This has kept me from watching/reading anything related to real Spartacus history while this series is in motion.

Similar to Seddulus not being able to face the facts last week and Lucius never being the head Spartacus's army, I guess Oenameus will never have the same eye for gladiator talent that he used to have.

Similar to how Seddulus lost face in front of his countrymen, and Lucius was never real headstrong, I guess Oenameus and Gannicus will never really see eye to eye about the past.

Similar to how Seddulus won't be getting much more face time this season, and Lucius is not headed out on any more missions, Oenameus will not be sleeping with one eye open watching for enemies.

IMO, people should be able to choose to watch what they want to watch, no matter how graphic, violent, etc. it might be. TV and movies are not reality, they are entertainment mediums. If you don't want to watch, don't. But don't force your opinion on me or anyone else.

I have similar views towards most social issues, such as religion and gay marriage. Beleive whatever the heck you want. Just don't expect me to agree with you, or try to impose your views on me.

I agree completely. I had shows that fear killing off characters and drag things out. Let's tell the story, completely and fully, but don't add unnecessary shit. When people are due to die, kill them.

Right as this season ends, Game of Thrones comes. The best two shows on TV right now, hands down.

The problem is all of the villains died, including Ashur and Lucretia (semi-villain).

So, what happens next? Clean slate for next season.
