speaker problem

So i got my new comp and set up the speakers but only the left one works. This is wierd since the right one goes into the sup and then connects to the left one. The sliders are working fine and when i set it all the way to the right it just makes left louder. It also kinda sounds like its in an auditorium/fishtank
