All die sizes are within 5mm^2. The poster here has been right on some things in the past afaik, and to his credit was the first to saying 505mm^2 for Navi21, which other people have backed up. Even still though, take the following with a pich of salt.

Navi21 - 505mm^2

Navi22 - 340mm^2

Navi23 - 240mm^2

Just rumors that happen to be found: Navi21 has been "deferred"/"unfocused". Instead, Navi31 will launch before mid-2021 or shortly after instead.

Navi22/23/24 will launch on time though replacing RX 5700/5500/640 respectively.

The pricing for 22-24 will be inline with historic lows of previous GPUs.
~$200 + prem
~$100 + prem
~$50 + prem

New road:
Navi3x is 2.5D RDNA2
Navi4x is RDNA3(GFX1100s) (Probably X3D)

Navi3x upper-end respectively is double the CU count of Navi2x.

Where are you finding this?

Looks like AMD is seeing some record high boost clocks with next-gen. It will be interesting to see where they finalize clocks and how much overclocking headroom there is.
OC headroom will probably be massive if the top card is only 275W TGP, but I wonder at what point bandwidth will become the issue.

I'm expecting Sapphire to go all out with this one.

Some RDNA2 rumours from Igor's Lab : (German)

- Actual "big navi" has 275W and just above a 3070 performance (if the Nvidia charts are true)
- Possibility that AMD pushed the TDP to +-300W to get around 3080 performance but that would be really bad for the efficiency
- Board partners don't yet have chips or even BOM (bill of materials) what will lead to only reference design to be available this year
Guys, please use some basic math and you'll see that what he says makes ZERO sense.

I generally agree with the premise that the longer AMD stays totally quiet, the less faith people will generally have that they'll deliver a competitive product.

AMD should have a pretty good idea where NV's cards were targeted, and now where they perform.

If we're this late into the year and AMD doesn't even have solid performance numbers for their own 2020 release, in cherry picked, optimized games, then it does not instill a lot of confidence in the unwashed masses (me amongst them).

You do realize that they might just be sticking to their game plan?

If it was me in charge of their marketing I'd most likely use the PS5 and Xbone's advertising momentum/hype to my advantage.

Unconfirmed rumor says PS5 launch event is the 9th. I guess it's the 25th anniversary of the PS in the USA.

I guess we'll see how it turns out, but I don't really expect to see anything from AMD yet.

What difference does it really make? Baring a minority, who has faith in AMD? When the cards launch, they will speak for themselves. Those who fancy AMD will be waiting for news and those who are fixated on Nvidia will be the early RTX buyers anyhow. I really don't see how AMD loses any sales as the implication is that ALL of those who want a new graphics card will be able to buy one by Christmas. The stock supply situation, even in the most unrealistically optimistic scenario, tells us that most of the potential market cannot all get their cards this year.

AMD is not going to grab too much more market share in 2020 but they need to at least start grabbing mind share with these new releases if they are indeed competitive with the new Nvidia offerings.

There are too many Nvidia diehards to try and convert. It will take years to reach something like 50/50% market share but they(AMD) need to have something competitive in 2020 to get the ball rolling.

Speaking for myself I am not buying Nvidia and have not done so in more than 10 years and those two Nvidia cards purchased in 2008 were a one time thing.

So I'm hoping AMD will start clawing back in 2020 in graphics.

-It would make a difference to me, right now. I know for a fact that I am not a beautiful and unique snowflake, so it undoubtedly matters to other people as well.

I have switched back and forth each generation from NV to ATI/AMD since I went from my 4600ti to my 9800pro way back in the day and this cycle might end up being the first time in over 20 years I will break that pattern.

I am as we speak following some 50 odd 2080ti and 2080S cards on the used market, waiting for one that comes in at a fair price. All AMD has to do is show me that they're going to be even kinda competitive (with discreet cards, not extrapolations from console arch) this round and I'll wait for them.

Otherwise, the minute a sweet deal on last gen NV cards comes my way, I'll be doing my first NV to NV upgrade in two decades.

What's the rush? Prices will plummet further once Ampere hits the streets.

Fair enough. My present use is a 27" 2560 that these old eyes still don't need glasses to use. I'll be getting a mid-range card to use on a 32" 4K monitor using integer scaling for gaming, so I'll be waiting some time anyhow. It's just entertainment at the end of the day. A heresy to some.
