Ryzen 3xxx mobile lineup looks to fix the battery life issues somewhat:
I really hope AMD also releases a 7nm APU. If not in 2019Q4 then at least soon after though. I was surprised how 3700U was only about 20-30% faster than Intel gen9 in gaming (compared to ~2x in desktop APUs).
We will need to see what Navi is and when it will launch. I think they are giving themselves a bit of a better launch window for a Zen 2 APU, by launching this early the Zen+ one this early. But if they still need a mono die for the APU's it will always be 6 months behind the new GPU's and CPU's. Both have to be finalized and AMD isn't going to spend the resources or hold out on either of the other ones to launch with the APU. But if the Zen 2 + Navi APU can be a MCM CPU then I think the cycles will shorten significantly.
