As Ian Cutress points out on Twitter, the boards may still support PCIe 4.0 on the main PCIe slot and main M2 slot from the CPU.

AMD was so quick with PCIe 4 chipset support because their chipsets are the same silicon as the IO die. It seems their design philosophy is modular and scalable throughout the company's products.

Nah Asmedia was supposed to give PCIe 4.0 motherboards by the end of the year. So AMD did x570 on their own. It turns out Asmedia failed to do even that.That is a long time to wait.

So are most of the 300 and 400 series motherboard with lacking feactures (vs 500 series) and weak vrms. But if not PCI-E 4.0 is confirmed i dont think that B550 and A520 will end up to be too diferent from B450 and A320 chipsets.Yes it does, the A320 is now certified poop.

Is all about money at the end of the day. The point is that they did bother to replace it, thats not a small thing, this means A320 was not as worthless as some belived. For the end price well see.
Except the 350/450 370/470 support Ryzen 3000
I would not be so sure about that now, as some manufacturers are launching bios for A320 with ComboPI, so as long AMD did not Agesa locked the A320 should work, and there still B350/X370 boards whiout ComboPI bios.
As things are now, it may end up diferently as i troguht 2 weeks ago.
