Hello all:
I must say that I am somewhat disappointed. I have been using a 1.4Ghz Tbird w/512MB RAM and GeForce 3 card and 60GB WD then 80GB Seagate for the last 3-4 years and finally upgraded to an FX-55, 2GB RAM, and SLIed 6800GTs with 2 74GB Raptors in RAID0 and a 400GB Seagate. General day to day usage is pretty much the same. Granted I have yet to try programs like Flash and Photoshop on my new machine but the general everyday computing is the same.
So just a word to the wise if you are not gaming or doing high end video/3d/photo editing and the like a high end computer will pretty much be useless to you. Load times for the OS are not that much better and the general feel is not that much faster. Am I the only one who sees it this way?
