75 in a 65.

There was one time I got pulled over going much faster, but he didn't tell me how fast I was going (probably didn't clock me). I got a ticket for careless driving.

Biggest speed differential I got pulled over for was 62 in a 35 (on a highway, but I had just gone over a bridge where the speed limit dropped to 25 and gradually worked back up to 55).

Going 140 in a 90 zone (Canada) didn't get a ticket though, talked my way out of it... and was friends with the cops son.

On the way from Los Angeles to Mammoth, I was pulled over for 96 in a 65. I was relieved she pulled me over when she did, because we were going 120 at a few points during the commute. It was almost 2am, there was nobody on the road, and it was a long, straight stretch.

$185 fine without traffic school, $209 fine with.

Heh, around here you have to pass a test like that to even get to do the real driver's test
Actually, "test" is too strong a word, you don't really have to accomplish anything spectacular, it's more of a "get a feel for it" kind of test.

Great loads of fun, doing 80 km/h and driving into a simulated ice lane, then trying to avoid a "moose".
I managed at up to 60 km/h without going off the road, at which point the instructor told me to go straight to 80, no damn way to keep the car on the slippery road at that speed, so I ended up way outside the lane

Oh and to answer the question, none miraculously enough

Whew that has to be hard to do. I would enjoy the challenge though.

Where do you actually have to do that for drivers license though?

105mph in a 30mph zone. I was lucky they didn't take away my license. It was when I owned a Porsche and thought it would be a good idea to show it off at 1:00am in the morning. Boy was I stupid.

to the guy asking about that driving lesson, i know there are a few in america. i think BMW has a driving program where u go there for a few days/a week (don't remember) and you pay like $2000 or something, so it's not something you would do "just because." i've never gone to one so i'm not sure what exactly you go through, but i'm sure for a couple grand the excitement should be there

Hmm, a little expensive for a college student. When I graduate and settle down with, hopefully a family and a job, THEN it will happen

Fastest I've been pulled over for is 70 in a 55, going downhill in the UP of Michigan with nobody around. The ticket was like $75 or something I think, and that's the only ticket I've ever gotten.

The stupidest I've been pulled over for, though, is 50mph in a 25mph zone like 7 months after I got my license. Amazingly, the officer just followed me home (like 3 blocks from where he pulled me over) and I got a written warning. It's amazing I'm still alive after a lot of the stupid crap my friends and I did during high school.

I got pulled over for 74 in a 50 today. I was going downhill and hit the gas instead of the brake and by the time i fixed the mistake it was too late. The first time I have been pulled over. $115 and 6 points or 4 points if paid within 20 days. Im contacting a lawyer for advice tomorrow as Im going to school out in Utah and wont be able to make the court date in Colorado and I want to know what options if any that I have. I dont mind paying the fine, but i dont want the points or my insurance to go up. My insurance just went down, the last thing it needs is to go back up.

92-94 in a 70 max zone in Kern County. I don't remember the exact speed, but it was 90-95 mph, and the fine was something like $250 + no traffic school allowed.

The only time I was ever pulled over I was going 56 in a 20.... on a military base. I was an intern at a research facility on the base during a summer while a college student. I can't even described how terrified I was when a couple guys with assault rifles slung on their back come up to me once they pulled me over. That was my last day on base and I was leaving the next morning (I lived 700 miles away). They saw how scared I was and that I was leaving the next day, so they let me off the hook.

<-- was young & stupid, because smokey booked me at 131 mph (209 km/h) on a 47 mph (75 km/h) zone.

[add] $600 CAD fine that has to be paid within 30 days, 6 demerits to my driver license, and an additional $600 fine on my birthday (circa 1986-87). Sold my Saab soon after that because the car keep begging me to be driven at around 220 km/h and I couldn't afford the speeding tickets to the affect.

78 in a 55. Going to court on April 4th to see if they'll drop the 4 points (ouch). It was $171 and I was on the way home from my Grandfather's funeral on a Sunday night... needless to say, cop didn't care.

I have been clocked by a LEO at 124 mph.

No ticket either.

Did I forget to mention, it was a 1/4 mile track? Oops.

ON the street, I have been clocked, pulled over, and given a TTT, Thorough Talking Too, for doing 92 in a 65 on my way to work.

What's the fastest you've been pulled over for?

A parking violation.
Yeah, I drive that slowly.

Wasn't my fault either. I parked where I was told to park, when I was told to park. Thanks to department heads not talking to each other and getting things straight, I was given the wrong information, but followed it correctly. Result: ticket.
I argued it. Result: Me no have to pay, with a "warning" apparently to not do what the nice people in charge of the damn college tell me to do.

Ew. I hate Kern County. I got pulled over there last summer doing I think 91-93 and was able to do traffic school. Fine was about $250 though.

Sweden would be where

But like I said, that part of the test isn't really a test, I don't know if you can even flunk it.
I guess if you truly suck horribly you could flunk, but in general it's really more educational than a real test.
Kinda to get some respect for the and it's capabilities, as well as lack thereof under some conditions.
You get to "crash" at 15 km/h as well in a cage like thing, that one was actually kinda cool, because while 15 km/h doesn't sound like much, it sure as hell felt faster once you "crashed"
