Spidey's finally got wireless

I've had various wireles products in the house with poor luck. Poor performance, range, etc.

Well smack me up! I put in a cisco 350 access point I got off e-bay (use tons of them at work) and a proxim a/b/g card and I'm rocking at 11 Mbs full strength all through the house (and even in the basement which is concrete everywhere) and all over the yard. Impressive.

Nice! I'm going wireless soon too. I just bought a Dlink wireless PCI card off of ebay. Going to through it in my OpenBSD nat/firewall box and make it an access point too! There's a good article on doing this at UnixCircle.

Yea, those 350 are solid as a rock. I am runnin a 1200 right now... for home use not much difference between 350 and 1200

I was just REALLY impressed how strong it was. I've had some of the soho gear around and it was always flaky. I got mine for $220 and its worth every penny.

when the wife is gone you find all KINDS of money. I didn't realize just how expensive they are.
