Split photos for wall?

I'm trying to split a photo into 9 parts to hang on a wall in separate pieces.
For example, I want to go from this to this. I', trying to find a place that will just allow me to upload the image and they'll do the rest. It gets a little complicated doing it myself, because I have to remove the space between the pieces from the image, if that makes any sense at all. Most of the places I've found that do this are in the UK, and they do it on canvas which costs a fortune. Any ideas?

It's a little tedious, but you could do it manually by cropping pieces out of the original photo and pasting them into new, separate images. Just make sure each cropped piece is the same size..

Yeah, I know I can do it myself, I'm trying to avoid that.

will this do what you want? i don't know if it can keep the resolution you want though.

in photoshop, you can split the image fairly easily, but you'll probably have to add dropshadows/etc yourself. after you save for web, you'll have a folder with a html file and a subfolder with all the slices.
1. Activate the Slice tool.
2. Right-click on the image and select "Divide Slice"
3. In "Divide Slice" dialog, set: Divide Horizontally into 2 slices; Divide Vertically into 2 slices.
4. Define optimization settings for every slice (in ImageReady use Optimize palette; in Photoshop - "Save for Web" dialog)

I remember seeing this before. I don't think that's what I'm looking for though. Thanks.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting exactly what it is that's complicated, but why not just lay a pair of horizontal bars and pair of vertical bars over your picture, and crop out the remaining 9 pieces?

First of all, what's the resolution of the picture and how big do you plan to print them?
If the resolution is not good enough, diving a picture into many parts wouldn't work.
