spreadable cheddar cheese

So every year at least going back to when I was in elementary school they had the kids do a fund raiser around the winter holidays, selling candy and other snacks, gift wrapping, etc.

One thing they've always had is some kind of spreadable cheddar cheese.

I want some now but can't find anything that even comes close to it.

I've tried several different products and most of it is labeled as spreadable but unless you're spreading it on a slab of steel, it isn't spreadable. Also doesn't taste the same.

I have no idea what the brand they sell is right now. Anyone know what it is is and where I can get some?

Pub cheese. Like a spreadable sharp cheddar. They sell it in the deli section of grocery stores in our area of NJ, anyway. Might be some near you.

Hickory Farms makes a pretty tasty cheeseball. Other than that, hit up Whole Foods (or other local upscale grocery chain) and see what they have in the cheese bin.

Winecheese is what I have seen many called like that. Sharp cheddar flavor but spreadable.
