Do you think by the end of the quarter we'll see Springdale based chipset motherboards out? I'm in need of a new machine but not a dire need and could wait a couple more months. But if we're talking June or July time frame I don't think I could wait that long. Springdale will have support for Prescott correct?

My extremely reliable Intel source says that Springdale+Canterwood will launch at around the same time this year as i845G did last year. That means around the end of May - about 4 month's time (as long as there are no problems or delays). It should be well worth waiting for though. Yes, it supports Prescott and 800FSB CPUs. Funny to think that we're not far away from 5000MB/s Sandra memory scores at stock speeds!!:Q

Thanks Coz. Yeah that's borderline timeframe for me but that will give me additional time to save more money! Thanks for the info!
