Sprint/Verizon Aircard

Is there a writeup or piece of equipment that will allow people with Sprint/Verizon aircard to basically beam internet into their house? I chatted with someone today where the only thing he can get is ISDN and he is going to be having three computers in the house and thinks that a Sprint/Verizon card would be a better solution. Any recommendations?

Your best bet will probably be to get an old desktop, get a PCI-to-PCMCIA card, and then set the PC up as a router or with Windows's Internet Connection Sharing.

Keep in mind that the Internet you get through these cards is only meant for email, web browsing, and other low bandwidth tasks. The service agreements I've seen all specifically state that you're not allowed to use bandwidth continually such as by running BT over it or similar. There was a article linked on Digg where Verizon canceled this guy's account and charged him the early cancellation fee when he downloaded more than what they thought was reasonable.

there are evdo routers...kind of expensive though. D-Link DI-725, Kyocera's KR1, Junxion, StompBox just to name a few.

I think the Kyocera is around $300, not sure about the others. Like Ryoga said, Verizon/Sprint/etc are not keen on people sharing their broadband service. They are intended for use on a single computer, and doing otherwise could violate their tos and your contract.
