I've been a customer of Sprint's for 5 years, before they were even PCS, they were "spectrum". I've gone through all kinds of CS and system problems, including 'automatic payment' that was pulling out $500 out of my bank at a time....then had to deal with CS to try and get $ back. On top of that, I've had problems straightening out what my plan was supposed to be....and why they were billing me wrong.
All the mean while I've stayed on a very very crappy old plan because I never really wanted to commit to another year or more. Recently I just tried getting a new phone and plan and was horrifically disappointed with the way Sprint doesn't allow CS to offer anything more for someone who has been for sprint for 5 years, or 5 weeks (750/3000 is the standard 'retention' plan that any CS can offer).
I was told I wasn't eligible for a $130 rebate for a new phone because I had switched my phone within the past 18 months (I switched to a 'new-to-me' phone from my friend because my old phone died).
So now I've bought a new phone, and switched to a new company. I got a new bluetooth phone for free (Sprint wouldn't offer me that nor do they have bluetooth), a new wireless bluetooth headset, and a plan that is better than Sprint's retention (debatable). (see my post about t-mobile from further back).
But to get away from Sprint and their horrible customer relations.....that should be a visa commercial because it is truly priceless.
