I pay $30 / month. It's probably the most liberating $30 I pay. Because I pay so little, I don't care when my coverage is a little shoddy, a call or two gets dropped, or the fact that they have awful customer service. The way I see it, Sprint is paying me $70 / month to use their service.

I have no reasons to complain.

Yes, for your deal, you're in pretty good shape. For most people, they have to pay far more with Sprint for your level of features/usage.

I still hate the bastards though

Whenever I have problems with merchants, one call to my credit card company solves everything. The merchants don't get paid and I have bargaining power over them. Problem solved.

Yeah that's the route I actually had to play. First I cancelled their payment from my account, then when they tried to stick a nastygram on my credit, I got it removed. Sprint could have just taken the fucking phone back and left me with my original account (which I was paying $70-$80/mo on for years), but they had to be cockgobbling shitsuckers, so I just dropped their entire service.

It's like that saying, a happy customer may or may not tell someone about a product/service, but if you fuck a customer over, he'll damned sure tell everyone at every opportunity about it. It's not all that big in the big picture, but I've probably turned at least 80 people away from Sprint over the past three years (mostly new accounts, but also converting existing users to much cheaper plans with MPCS), which means perhaps tens of thousands of dollars in lost income for them, just because I'm so adamant about what pieces of shit they are and how they treat their customers.

Has anyone actually used the 30 day money back guarantee clause? If I switched to Sprint (from VW) I'd like to have the option to move back if the service wasn't up to par.

How does that work with bringing your old number over and such? Would the whole ordeal be a big pain?

You can just sign up for a sprint account with a new number to try it out. If you like it, Sprint can port your number later on at no additional charge. That's what I did when I switched.

With Sprint, I've always been able to roam on Verizon's network. W/ the free roaming on my plan, it's great.

I switched because monthly costs was less, and they roam on verizon, so I don't see how it's loss for me. It's been pretty good. Their customer service is good at first, but not good on the follow through. Verizon was hit or miss. verizon dsl was hell. comcast is craptacular. they all basically suck, so it wasn't a strong issue.

~$180 month for 4 lines including taxes and fees, "1500 minutes" shared, unlimited data/txt. now unlimited M2M (note, if you are roaming on verizon, you're going against your minutes), I'm relatively happy, given my choices.

i have been with them since 02...i have had several problems with their service, in the past...however, since the big dropout etc, they have improved things greatly. Pretty good service. Never really have any tech problems. And the cost is great, plus I get 20% off through my employer.

I am glad they have improved.
