I competed yesterday in what was actually my first full powerlifting meet. I competed in the 242 juniors (weighed in at 229). There weren't that many lifters (there were actually only 4 squatters), but I had a good time and was pretty happy with my numbers. There's still plenty of room for improvement, but at least they're moving along.
Here were the results...
Squat
1 - 385
2 - 405
3 - 430
4 - 455 (miss)
Bench
1 - 310
2 - 335
3 - 350 (miss)
Deadlift
1 - 405
2 - 425
3 - 450
4 - 465
Total - 1215
And videos of all attempts...

Even though my Deadlift was only 465, I'm actually pretty happy with that. It's still not up to where it was before my back injury, but it's the strongest it's been since and 465 was a +5lb PR from last week, and last weeks was a +20lb PR from weeks before. I missed 455 in the gym and was hoping to get it in the meet, but it didn't happen. For bench I've done 350 in the gym, but it definitely wasn't with a pause, which is why it didn't even budge off my chest.
There were no records in the 242 juniors that I competed in, which is why I got 4th attempts. I definitely enjoyed myself and will do it again, but I'm not sure when. I'm getting ready for a bodybuilding show in October, so I'm going to start bringing my bodyfat down just so I'm in a better position before my contest prep begins.
