Lets see here. New member wants help in cracking a safety feature on a drive that he claims is his but doesn't know how he encrypted his own data? Geez fellas you really fell for that one. I hope the actual owner of that drive can recover it.

You know, I was actually thinking that this could be a stolen device as well...but, they aren't trying to get the data back, just wipe it.
So, I am still on the fence about the OP.

Im system admin in one company,but never had a experiance with this kind of things,locked drive was in notebook of our ex coworker who has fired,and he cannot or dont want to remember a password

A system admin with writing and computer skills like that? Well okay if you say so but I won't help you crack the device. If you are legit remove the drive and return it to the manufacturer with an explanation of what happened. Chances are that will never happen which is why I'm so sarcastic about this.

We've had people steal things before and come here looking for advice on how to get past the safeguards on them so the criminal could use it. When I see those essential elements present I balk plus its a violation of the user rules here.

You shoukd have one of those system restore disks no? It wipes the system back to factory state. That might do it.

Should be able to create a set from a different same model laptop. Or download from lenovo. Come to think of it, ask Lenovo, they should have a way to do this. It is not an uncommon occurence.

I believe that m.2 drive model is self-encrypting. If that is the case, secure erasing the drive without decrypting it first will most likely make the drive completely unusable and that's probably why you're getting the error when you try to erase it.

If we believe him why won't he contact Samsung support about the drive? How many of you have made a legitimate purchase and wouldn't contact the manufacturer when something went wrong with it? If we apply the reasonable person standard to this situation the OP fails and I see elements of mens rae and actus reus present in this scenario. Self encryption is a safety feature of that drive that works with the dell bios to prevent the unauthorized access of data on it so take it for what its worth.

If it is hardware encrypted you need to reset the PSID on the Drive to use it again. Without this step there is no other way to use it again. You can revert PSID if you have the proper tool from the manufacturer. Or the manufacturer can do it for you, so you have to contact Support either way.
The tool is named PSIDrevert. But dont load it from any internet source, it is not freely available so downloads may likely be virus infected.

I already did,they respond after almost 4 weeks,they stops to give support for OEM parts just for consumer parts,ssd I have is OEM part, they sent me psid software,when I open psid revert I have message drive Id error

Make sure you are entering the PSID correctly. I usually take a picture of the label on the drive with my phone so I have it in my hand while the drive is plugged into the computer. The process will fail if the ID is wrong. It can also fail if the drive is bad.

No,you didn't understand well,i can not even come to that step of entering psid,I got drive id error after I open psid app,it's list primary ssd where OS is and under that shows drive id error for problematic ssd I will attach picture now
