Ok I know you dont wanna defrag a ssd drive. My question is it ok to defrag your registry if you have your os installed on an intel ssd
The problem here is: defragging only helps with larger sequential reads/writes and well, I can't imagine that these happen often..I defrag registry quite regularly using tools like TuneUp Utilities or RegistryMechanic(better choice). If I have a lot of programs installed, its quite a noticeable performance boost. Been doing this on all my machines, for years now, never had any problems doing it. You can also backup your registry before you do it if you're shaky.
dont mess with your registry. step back. slowly.
