I'm not looking to upgrade my computer motherboard in the near future, meaning probably not in the next six months. I'm currently running a Abit IP35 Pro which only has SATA II ports on it and I'm looking to buy a solid-state drive.
The question is do I buy an Intel 160GB, SATA II drive or the Corsair Force GT 120GB, SATA III? Both are around the same price and the difference in size isn't a big deal.
I'm thinking with the Corsair I could still benefit by running it as SATA II and be ready when I do upgrade my motherboard. On the other hand, the Intel looks to be very reliable and I'm not sure about problems with the Corsair.
So, what would you do? I'm open for suggestions and ready to make a purchase ASAP.
