I am having some very serious problems lately, first heres a list of my basic specs:
eVGA 680i SLi Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 Processor
Corsair 2GB (2x1GB) of PC8500 RAM
eVGA GeForce 8800GTX
First and foremost when I got these upgrades, I ran everything at default, after I got everything straight with my OS and such I decided it was time to see where I can go. I began overclocking based on some other users help. But I still was confused by many things (many settings have very little description), I got to ~3200 when my stability issues were hitting, my voltages were fine and adjusted appropriately, but my research and everyone else indicated 3.2ghz is NOT too far and something else was wrong. I confirmed this in that my Intel Thermal Analysis tool told me my E6700 while under full load was only 50 C.
So i went a little bit lower again, still random crashes were occuring constantly. The majority of the crashes were while I was playing World of Warcraft where at ANY given random point the system simply hangs completely until I restart it, yet the mouse was still moveable. And lately but not occuring as often, I get a BSOD that says "BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER" Stop 0x000000FE. None of these I have any idea how I can fix or what the problem is. Along with this USB BSOD right before these hiccups Ive had my USB keyboard become bugged out where pushing keys would do the wrong thing, and this woudnt be fixed until restarted or the system stabalized.
Anyways, I seem to have excessive problems, does anyone have any ideas to the cause of these problems, and if theres a fix? Or if I should just RMA and get a new board?
