I just got my order. It should of been here yesterday, seeing how it was shipped via 2nd day, but UPS messed up and and routed it wrong.
So I got my game a day late.
It's all good still,.... great deal.

NFS U is freaking awesome. (for pc)

only thing that could have made it better is if it had LAN play.

by the way for reference, I had 3 orders, all on monday, all for 1 pc game each, and they were delivered yesterday

That's a strange oversight. The last umpteen NFS games had LAN play, and this new one just has single or internet play. Well, Hot Pursuit II is one of the games in transit to me, and it should have LAN capabilities.

True, I would never have spent the money on EA games if I hadn't been able to get a discount on them,,,this proves that when a product is priced reasonably it sells...even though these were priced a little bit lower than reasonable....I can't complain.

I disagree. This proves that people will buy something for much cheaper than what they're used to paying.

If all games, including these EA titles, normally debuted in retail stores for $20 (or whatever the final total you guys are getting), quite a few of the people in this thread would not have bought them because the price would have been nothing special. The "hot deal" aspect of these transactions make them more appealing than the actual price itself.

I disagree with that totally. I would have no problem dropping 20 bucks on a good game. But I do have a problem with dropping 40-60 bucks on a game no matter how good it is. Same thing goes with CD's. If all CD's were 10 bucks I bet the volume of sales would increase dramatically. The gaming and music industry cry rape because they are losing so much money in sales from sharing programs but if they put their prices at a more reasonable rate less people would resort to these utilities.

yea, if games were $20 I wouldnt' have a problem buying a the latest nba live every yr, but the fact they're $40-$60 makes me either not buy it or wait until it drops lower

I concur (tee hee). I've been buying NBA Live every year (been a big fan of basketball simulation since Bird vs. Erving One-On-One on the Apple II) but I never bought any at the product launch (regular) price. I buy a few months after the launch when the price is drastically cut or I use 10-off-40 Staples coupons (which I no longer receive in the mail for the past year for some reason [boo hoo]). So this deal to me is heaven-sent.

i didnt get a reply for 3 days and cc wasnt charged so i thought it didnt work..

now it says both are shipped and both have been charged to my cc.

I ordered on Monday, Dec. 1 - mine still says received, in process. Madden 04 for PC. I have a feeling it will always be "in process"!

update 12/6 email says it has been shipped - will get in time for Christmas!
